Hi there. I’m Molly (she,her,hers).
I started sewing when I was about 12 years old. At 15 I began to sell my first pieces of clothing (peasant blouses and patchwork tanks) in bohemian shops in upstate NY. I went on to study and receive a BFA in Graphic Design. But…I always came back to sewing. To tell you the truth, I really struggle with computers and am much happier to make something with my bare hands. I love the tactile nature of sewing; how you start with many pieces and step by step you join them together to create one carefully made finished product, and its all happening between your fingertips!
I digress…Today, I live in Maine where I have a beautiful family and work from a sweet home studio beneath a 150 year old oak tree. I mainly make BABY BOOTIES, but am also producing clothing for women and children. I strive to provide quality and comfort to my customers, while also being mindful of the life giving planet we share by using organic and natural materials.
